PowerTools Lite is a program that will scan your registry and fix any errors in it. It will identify registry errors, i.e. unneeded entries in the registry. It will delete temporary files left behind by other tools. It will also clean the History log in your browser and the MRU data used by several applications.
The program begins by performing a scan in your system and displaying the health percentage of both your PC and registry. With this figures, you can better decide if your system needs a fix in order to improve those percentages. Should you decide to do this, the program will search your system again, and then will display a full list of all the errors found, if any. Then, it is up to you to decide what to fix and what to leave untouched.
Anyway, the program will offer you the possibility of making a backup of your registry, in case that something goes wrong. Power Tools Lite will perform all the fixes selected efficiently. You can later run the scan again to see if your health percentages have improved. There is an online help service for this program, which is not available when using the free version.
